5 Ways To Find Off-Market Real Estate Deals

October 7, 2019

Are you a real estate investor who is tired of looking for listings traditionally? You know that everybody these days just googles up what they’re looking for and they get it, but there’s so much more that you haven’t seen because it just isn’t online!

Well, off-market properties might be just what you’re looking for. It isn’t the easiest way but it is worth the effort. So doesn’t matter if you’re looking for apartments for sale in Dubai, or if you’re intending to invest in one of those great Emaar beachfront apartments. Doesn’t even matter if you just want to take a look at some new projects by Meraas, you just need to know how and where to look!

Below are some tips to help you find off-market real estate deals:

1. Direct Mail

This is one of the most common ways to find an off-market property. By conducting a direct mail campaign, you’ll have to distribute letters and postcards around neighborhoods. In those letters/postcards, you’ll let the homeowners know that you’re looking for a property to buy around the area.

You should add some contact details such as an email or even a work phone number.

2. Knock On Doors

You can start knocking on doors and see what comes up from it. You’ll probably find three types of houses: vacant ones, impending foreclosure and the perfect home (the one that fits all of your needs and what you’re looking for). Each one just needs something from you: the courage to knock on the doors and make some good offers.

3. Find Or Organize A Meetup

By organizing a meetup, you’ll probably attract a bunch of sellers, buyers and investors and real estate agents that might help you out and know how the off-market deals work. You can do the same through social media.

4. Connect With Real Estate Agents

Knowing real estate agents like guardian housing london might be really helpful because you’ll have a lot of opinions and there’s always the possibility that one of them knows a place with the same characteristics you’re looking for.

5. Sign Up To An Off-Market Database

This is one of the easiest ways. When you sign up to a database of off-market deals, you’ll be one of the first who knows when properties are available. Just think that the house of your dreams might have been for sale in the off-market this whole time and you didn’t even know it.
