February 17, 2021

It’s that time again. If you’re dreading spring cleaning your home, there’s no need to panic as listed below are a wide variety of tips that will help you clean your home from top to bottom.

8 Spring Cleaning Tips:

Clean your windows on a cloudy, overcast day:

The reason why you should wait till it’s overcast to clean your windows is that if you clean your windows when it’s sunny, visible streaks are likely to appear on your freshly cleaned windows.

Run a lemon through your kitchen garbage disposal unit in order to clean it out:

It’s simpler than you might think to rid your kitchen’s garbage disposal unit from unpleasant odors. Simply run a lemon through your garbage disposal unit with a glass of water, and any noticeable odors will be a thing of the past.

Use a lemon which is cut in half to clean your chopping board:

If you assumed that it was impossible to rid your chopping board of unsightly stains such as meat stains or beetroot stains, you’re in luck. You can remove all stains from your chopping board by simply rubbing half a cut lemon directly onto your stains.

Wash your shower curtains with a few soft towels:

The best way to wash your shower curtains is to wash them with a few soft towels. Just be sure to wash your shower curtains and towels on a gentle cycle, so that they don’t get ruined in the wash.

Clean your shower drain using baking soda, vinegar, and salt:

The easiest way to clean your shower drain is to pour a solution of 1/2 a cup of baking soda and 1/4 cup of salt down your shower. Followed by 1 cup of heated vinegar.

Clear out all the expired items in your bathroom:

It’s well worth checking the expiry date on all of your toiletries and beauty products in your bathroom. As you may be surprised at how many items are well past their expiry date and need to be thrown away.

Go through all of the items in your pantry:

Once you’ve cleared out your bathroom, move on to spring cleaning your kitchen by throwing out all of the dry and canned food items which have passed their expiry dates in your pantry.

Hire a dumpster bin:

It’s well worth paying for a dumpster bin rental so that you’ll be able to easily rid your home of all the unnecessary items which you’re looking to get rid of such as old furniture and boxes of clutter. So that won’t have to drive numerous loads of clutter to the tip and will be able to focus on ridding your home of clutter that you promised yourself that you would get rid of, years ago!

In conclusion, if you’re ready to start spring cleaning for the new season, it’s well worth testing out as many of the handy tips which are listed above. IN order to ensure that your home is thoroughly cleaned and rid of excess clutter.
